Work Work Work

Yep, that is all I have done all week besides school. Nope has not been fun but hey I will like it when I see my paycheck, or at least It better be a good paycheck. Its that time of year when everyone gets sick and can not go to work. I have been called in for 5 consecutive days in a role. I do enjoy taking care of people but I would also like to get a regular schedule someday in the near future. I do not mind working for others but hey lets face it I like to have the same good paychecks from one pay period to the next.

Freedom to raom the net

Yeah I have just been handed the freedom to surf the net, wear my pajamas to class, and do my homework and tests from the comfort of my home. It really does pay to have a brain. Not that I have all the cells that normal folks have but hey I will brag about what I do got...hehe. It is no contest compared to driving 140 miles per school day, listen to boring lectures, and deal with frustrating professors. Starting this spring I am free of all that... Not to forget the cost of gas to make that drive each day. Big savings!!!!

Just an update

Well the weekend is over and now the kids have gone home. I miss them already and for the present time have many messes left behind in their rooms to keep me busy. I need to go out and look for my second job now that the hip is feeling better. Thank goodness, it took long enough of sitting and laying around to heal. It of course snowed again so i will have to walk very carefully to ensure my happy butt doesn't fall again..hehe Wish me luck on that cuz I always fall on the shit!!! I do wish I could just wait it out inside but the bills will not get paid that we. The semester is almost over at school and soon will be dragging my butt up to Ottumwa for final exams and believe me I am not looking forward to that. I hate to test over the info i have learned which is rather ironic because I have near panic attacks taking the tests thinking AI will of course fail but I always seem to come out with either A's or B's. still can not seem to control the panic though. Hope to get them over quickly.

Disappointed

Well the Ex did not get our daughter signed up for her dance class after all so there isn't a recital to attend and I am not the only one disappointed. Selena was really looking forward to participating and the Ex did not even inform her of his failure to register her for the class. Talk about a bummer!!! But we are enjoying ourselves anyway, playing video games and looking at photo albums of time gone by. Catching up on the past two weeks since our last visit. Selena made me another card this weekend which is becoming a norm for her to do so. I save them all in my keepsake box.

KIDS THIS WEEKEND!!!

Yep, it is that weekend again- full of fun and joy that I will be spending with my kids. Not sure what we plan to do but whatever it is I'm sure it will be fun. Selena has a dance recital today and I know I will be snapping tons of pics. Next time I post I will be sure to add some pics of it for all to see. My little girl has gotten so big in such a short time. I am very excited to see how she reacts to public performances. Not that I have any doubts she will not be fabulous. She loves attention, dancing and singing. She tells people all the time she is going to be a singer like Selena when she gets older. Yeah she was named after a singer and it has stuck in her mind ever since. I sure hope my other kids are good while she performs, I would hate to miss any of it. update next post.

First day back on my feet!!!!

Nope wasn't ay fun at all. I have gone to classes- drove all the way to Ottumwa and back, went to the store, and walked around the house as neccessary. it sucked i still hurt and am getting real irritated that it is still bothering me. has caused me to give up the second job i got and now wondering how we are going to make it through until the bad weather passes and mark can get a good job again. For now unemployed and me limp or gimp whichever they both decribe my situation. Sucky....

Fallen update

yeah, I am still in pain. A few painkillers a day has prevented the need to go to the hospital because I know I have not broken anything except my pride. I am still planty soar but getting better. I am walkin around with the assistance of the pain meds I saved from my last hit toward the ground region!!! yeah-sweems to be my specialty. I hope to be mobil soon.

I have Fallen and I can't get up!!!!

Talk about pissed off-- It was no longer than I posted my last blog that I had to get ready to go to work. I start my car and turn to go back inside and oh yeah I fell on my ass!!! Well technically I fell on my hip bone and am now suffering the pain. I had to miss two shifts at work and my classes at school today so far. I have said it once ok maybe ten million times I HATE WINTER!!!!! I just got theses jobs and look what happens if my luck gets any worse this week I am barricading myself inside and not going out until spring. I swear if I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck.

Snow, Rain and Ice GO AWAY!!

Well all I have seen all weekend is snow, rain or ice...I am getting soo irritated having to start my car 30 minutes before going anywhere, sliding all over the road, slipping around every where I walk. I want it all to just go away. I am not one to favor the winter months, ok I hate them but It would be so much better if it was warm or half ass warm would do. I hate cold weather. I am not one to get sick and thank goodness I haven't had any big spouts of illness..I guess that is the one thing I can be greatful for this winter season but come on enough is enough. It gets to be awful depressing when all it does is look horrible outside and prevent you from getting anything done. I am wishing for an early spring not that my vote counts but god it would be nice to see something besides bad weather. My clients can not enen leave their homes when the weather is like this, talk about suck. It isn't any fun to go clean all day or sit all day. Everyone needs to see the outdoors at least on a regular basis.

Got A Job

Well angie has gone out and gotten herself a job...two actually! It has been tough to get back into the same old routine of waking early everyday for either school or work but I have finally started to adjust.....No small feat! I enjoy taking care of the disabled in their homes, it gives me great satisfaction to see them getting out in the world instead of being hidin from the world. Makes it look promising to a person like me who I am sure they would love to lock up and throw away the key, if I ever go crazy again. Which could happen in 0-60 seconds. One week into the jobs so far.....

Irritated!!!

Well today was a pretty stressful day, I had a huge Science test today. I hope I get a good grade!! I was very angry when I got to school and found out my first class had been cancelled. I had to sit around for two hours and wait for my next class that i had the test in. I had already studied and felt if I looked at my notes one more time they would blurr before my eyes. This is the second time this week that she cancelled without notifying her students... talk about a hag! It wouldn't even be a big deal if i did not have to drive 70 miles to get to school. Duh, more time to sleep in!!!!
